Weichert, Realtors® Opens the Season of Giving With its 30th Annual Holiday Toy Drive

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J.,– In an effort to brighten the holiday season for children in need, Weichert, Realtors, along with its affiliated companies, has kicked off the company’s 30^th Annual Toy Drive.

“We take great pride in being able to spread the holiday spirit with our annual toy drive,” said James M. Weichert, president and founder of Weichert, Realtors. “For three decades, the Weichert Family of Companies has remained committed to helping better the lives of children in need within our community.”

Toys will be collected at each of the company’s sales offices for distribution to financially and/or physically disadvantaged children within the local communities. Weichert employees at the company’s corporate headquarters in Morris Plains, N.J., as well as other locations throughout the United States and abroad, will also participate in the yearly community service event.

Weichert offices will accept donations of new unwrapped toys through December. Local charities that aid needy or underprivileged children will deliver the toys during the holidays. Last year more than 23,700 toys were distributed to charitable and service organizations in the communities Weichert serves.
