Weichert Real Estate School Expands Green Designation Course Offerings

-- First in New Jersey to offer Commercial and Property Management electives --
MORRIS PLAINS, N.J., – Weichert Real Estate School, an affiliate of Weichert, Realtors, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate companies, announced it has added two new courses to its curriculum. The one-day courses cover property management and commercial real estate and are electives for the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) Green Designation program. Weichert Real Estate School is the first real estate school in New Jersey to offer these courses.
In addition to the new electives, Weichert Real Estate School also offers the NAR Green Designation Core Course and the Residential Real Estate Elective Course. Realtors who complete the core course and one of the three elective courses are eligible for the NAR Green Designation and membership in the Green Resource Council. The Green Designation was established by NAR in November 2008 and is the only green designation recognized and endorsed by the organization. The courses are also open to developers, builders and code officials, although only NAR members are eligible to receive the Green Designation.
