Jim’s brokerage grew through his tireless, highly personal, hands on approach. Jim was one of the first brokers in the early 70’s to really understand that “People buy people before they buy your service”. Jim grew his agency through prospecting for sure, but primarily through the active recruiting, training, and retention of talented sales associates. His “people first” business philosophy created explosive growth which allowed him to grow through mergers and acquisitions of other brokerage agencies including some of his local competitors.
Jim realized his system of sales and the complementary use of technology he had developed could be used as a formula for making almost any independent broker more successful. As Jim acquired more and more offices, his system grew stronger and more successful and ultimately and became a model of growth for hundreds of independent brokers across the country.
