Everything Went to Pieces at Document Shredding Day Event

WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Pillar Northwest Hosts Free Shedding Event; Collects Items for Local Charity

BELLEVUE, Wash. / May 10, 2017 – WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Pillar Northwest recently transformed its 36^th Street parking lot in Bellevue into a gigantic shredding area to help local residents safely discard paperwork with personal or sensitive information. The May 6^th event, which was free and open to the public, brought a steady flow of area residents to the Weichert® office who were interested in turning their personal documents into ticker-tape parade material.
WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Pillar Northwest and its event partner, Guild Mortgage, also collected clothing and toiletry items, as well as financial donations, at the shred-a-thon to donate to Mary’s Place, a Seattle-based non-profit organization that assists the homeless. Donated items included: socks and underwear, baby wipes, diapers, dental floss, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes and deodorant.
