Jordan, who played for the Chicago Bulls at the time, purchased the three-bedroom home in 1988 for $550,000. The NBA Hall of Famer used the luxury property as a vacation home.
“Jordan chose our community for the amenities,” said Ruhlin. “He loves golf and this gated community has amazing golf courses and tennis courts.”
He sold the house in 1999 to an investor from New Jersey for $475,000. Despite the fame of once being owned by Jordan, the Yorkshire Drive home eventually went into foreclosure in 2014. It was purchased and renovated by the current owner in 2015.
“The home’s current owner has spent the past two years renovating this house which comes with three bedrooms and three and a half baths, not to mention the world-class golf, tennis, yachting and dining amenities,” added Ruhlin. “The house also features an open-floor plan, which was not common at the time it was built.”
