Weichert, Realtors® – CornerStone collects donated items to help support local food pantry
TWO RIVERS, Wis. / Dec. 6, 2018 – The holiday season is all about giving and helping others – especially the less fortunate.
That holiday spirit was on display recently at a local real estate agency as the office collected food items for the Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry.
“The holidays should be a joyous time for all to enjoy,” said Shelley Vogel, the agent at Weichert, Realtors® – CornerStone who coordinated the office food drive. “However, for families that are struggling to make ends meet, like putting food on the table, the holidays can be a stressful time.”
That struggle inspired Vogel to enlist her colleagues at the Two Rivers-based Weichert® affiliate to help support the local food pantry.
“Our office is deeply committed to giving back and helping the communities we serve,” said JoAnne Kouba, the real estate company’s broker/owner. “It was a tremendous honor to help support the food drive that Shelley coordinated.”
Kouba also acknowledged Vogel and the food pantry’s efforts to help others.
“We can’t thank Shelley enough for organizing this opportunity for our office,” added Kouba. “We’re also moved by the efforts of the Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry to help those in need.”
The Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry is non-profit organization that provides food assistance for those in need in Two Rivers, Mishicot and surrounding areas.
