ST. MARYS, Ga. / March 1, 2017 – WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Dream Achievers brought its A-game to the chili cook-off competition at this year’s Mardi Gras Festival & Parade in St. Marys. The Kingsland real estate agency was looking to score a big win at the Feb. 25 chili cooking contest.
And they did.
Armed with its best chili recipe, the team of REALTORS turned chefs bested the competition at the cook-off contest. The white bean chicken chili whipped up by WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Dream Achievers left contest judges begging for seconds. It also gave the Weichert® affiliate bragging rights for the year.
“My team and I had so much fun at this year’s Mardi Gras festival,” said Tara McClintock, the owner of WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Dream Achievers. “Being a part of this event gave us a chance to meet tons of people from the community while competing in a friendly cooking contest that benefits an incredible non-profit organization.”
The annual Mardi Gras Festival and Parade is hosted by the St. Marys Downtown Merchant Association and K-BAY-106.3 FM. Proceeds from the chili cook-off contest benefit Habitat for Humanity of Camden County.
