Weichert, Realtors® – True Quality Service inaugural car show helps military veterans and their families
LAKE WORTH, Fla. / Dec. 18, 2019 – Weichert, Realtors® – True Quality Service was excited to host its 1st Annual Veterans Car Show in Lake Worth on December 14.
The inaugural event featuring dozens of classic, hot rod and sport cars benefitted Faith Love Hope’s Stand Down initiative, which assists military veterans and their families.
The car show, which took place in the real estate agency’s parking lot, raised close to $1,400 for the Lake Worth-based charity.
“We had so much fun hosting our first-ever Veterans Car Show,” said Michael Garcia, broker/owner of the Lake Worth-based Weichert® affiliate. “It was a great way for us to help support an amazing charitable organization that does great work here in our community.”
Garcia and his team of agents also spent the weekend filling Christmas stockings with toiletry items collected by the office. The handmade stockings were donated by Quilts by Anna Mae.
The Weichert affiliate is donating the stuffed Christmas stockings to Faith Hope Love, Inc.
“As a military veteran, I know first-hand the tremendous sacrifice that the men and women who proudly served in the Armed Forces made to protect this country,” said Garcia, who served in the United States Army.
Garcia added: “Donating these Christmas stockings filled with toiletries to an amazing organization like Faith Hope Love is one small way my team and I can thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice.”
