SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. / Aug. 30, 2017 – WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Excel invites the public to come out and support its annual “Show Them We Care” school supply drive to help kids in the Macomb County foster care system. REALTORS from the Weichert® affiliate will be collecting donated school supplies through the end of September at its office, located at 47699 Van Dyke Avenue in Shelby Township, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
“We encourage everyone in the area, whether you have a child or not, to stop by our office and donate whatever you can to help support our school supply drive,” said Hank Mendez, the broker/owner of WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Excel. “New school supplies mean the world to these kids. That’s why my team and I are committed to doing whatever we can to help get their new school year off to a great start. We hope others will join us.”
Mendez and his team hope to collect enough school supplies for the 500 kids in county foster care. Items that can be donated include: pens and pencils, notebooks and notebook paper, backpacks, lunchboxes and other types of school supplies.
