LOVES PARK, Ill. / June 3, 2019 – Weichert, Realtors® – Tovar Properties and Draper Kramer Mortgage Corp. is excited to kick-off its first-ever Backpack and School Supplies donation drive this month to help teenage students in Illinois.
The public is invited to come out and support the backpack and school supplies drive on Saturday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Weichert® affiliate, located at 5812 East Drive in Loves Park.
The collected items – including monetary contributions – will be donated to Just Breathe 815, a local non-profit organization that provides clothing, meals, toiletries and sports equipment for homeless and at-risk teens in Illinois.
Area residents who drop by the Loves Park-based real estate agency to support the drive can also enjoy free ice cream, courtesy of Draper Kramer Mortgage Corp.
“We encourage anyone in the area to stop by our office and donate whatever they can to help our backpack and school supplies drive,” said Rion Tovar-South, the broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Tovar Properties. “Teaming up with Draper Kramer Mortgage Corp is a great way for us to give back to the community and help teens in need.
