Weichert, Realtors® – Premier all smiles atop Wizard of Oz themed float
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. / Oct. 25, 2017 – With the gang all there, they were off – to see the Wizard, that is.
Dorothy and her good friends the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Cowardly Lion and, of course, Toto, were a crowd favorite at this year’s Mummers Parade, held Oct. 21 in South Williamsport.
The happy cast of characters, which also included the Wicked Witch of the West, Glinda the Good Witch of the East and the Wizard of Oz, himself, were played by the staff at Weichert, Realtors® – Premier. The group rode atop a Wizard of Oz themed float while tossing candy to people watching the parade.
They even brought out their kids – dressed as munchkins – to be a part of the festivities.
“We had so much fun at this year’s Mummers Parade,” said Chris Pardee, the broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Premier, which is located in neighboring Williamsport. “People at the parade got a kick out of seeing their local REALTORS dressed as characters from the Wizard of Oz while riding on a float with our little munchkin friends.”
The Weichert® affiliated real estate agents and their families were among the thousands that attended the 72nd annual Mummers parade. And definitely some of the most excited.
“It will be pretty tough to top this year’s float next year, but we’re up for the challenge. The folks in our office are extremely creative,” added Pardee.
