LOVES PARK, Ill. / Dec. 3, 2018 – Weichert, Realtors® – Tovar Properties is proud to announce that Rion Tovar-South has been named board treasurer for the Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. Broker Council of Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana.
Tovar’s treasurer appointment follows her being named the broker council’s secretary earlier this year.
“I am truly honored to take on this additional leadership position for our regional broker council,” said Tovar, the managing broker/owner of the Loves Park-based Weichert® affiliate. “Our regional broker council is yet another valuable asset that Weichert provides its affiliated offices to help them grow their business.”
During Tovar’s two year terms as both board secretary and treasurer, which run consecutively, she will help Weichert affiliated brokers, managers and agents in the region take full advantage of the resources Weichert provides to offer the best real estate service in the industry.
Tovar opened her Loves Park real estate agency in 2009 under the name Tovar Realtors, LLC. She joined the Weichert national franchise system in 2016 to help her agency capture a larger share of the local real estate market.
