Southern Regional Expansion Drives 2nd Quarter Growth
MORRIS PLAINS, N.J., July 19, 2017 – Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. continued to grow its national market presence in 2017, with additional offices in Q2 contributing to a 17 percent increase in overall office count compared to the same time last year. The double-digit increase in office growth was buoyed by the addition of eight new offices across the country during the second quarter of 2017.
The Southern region accounted for the majority of increase in new offices during the year’s second quarter, with more than half located in Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia and Texas.
Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. also expanded its Midwest presence with the addition of a 14th office in Minnesota while it continued to grow its footprint out West. The national franchise network added its fifth affiliate office in Arizona, a real estate market that continues to rebound after being hit hard by the market’s recession.
