BLUFFTON, S.C. / Nov. 20, 2018 – Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties was honored to participate in Bluffton’s Veterans Day Parade on November 11.
The city’s annual parade honors the men and women who proudly served in the United States Armed Forces.
“It was a tremendous honor to march through the streets of Bluffton to recognize and thank the military members of our community who have sacrificed and risked their lives to protect us,” said Amy McCormick, sales manager of Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties’ Bluffton office.
“We can’t thank them enough for their service,” McCormick added.
McCormick and her team also handed out 500 U.S. flags for parade watchers to wave, a number of which were placed around a memorial honoring Bluffton residents who served during World Wars I and II and the wars in Vietnam and Korea.
The Weichert® affiliate also expresses its gratitude for the sacrifices made by both retired and active duty military personnel by participating in various programs that offer closing rebates and other incentives to military home buyers and sellers.
“Beaufort County is home to three military bases, and it is our privilege to assist active duty, veterans, and WOUNDED WARRIORS with their home buying and selling needs,” said McCormick. “Doing so is just another way for us to say ‘thank you’ for protecting our country.”
