EL MIRAGE, Ariz. / Aug. 24, 2017 – WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Peak Performance is proud to announce that REALTORS Brett Sponsler and Tammy Velarde have successfully completed all the requirements to become a licensed real estate broker in Arizona. Sponsler and Velarde work out of the WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Peak Performance office in El Mirage.
The Weichert® affiliated agents earned their broker’s license after completing more than 90 hours each of pre-licensing course work, as well as passing the Arizona Department of Real Estate Broker Examination. Arizona brokers are also required to have worked full time as a real estate agent three of the prior five years and attend three broker management clinics.

Obtaining a broker’s license means Sponsler and Velarde are qualified to assist with broker-only tasks delegated to them in addition to becoming a managing broker for an office or designated broker for a company. Licensed brokers can also be self-employed and work alone while representing home buyers and sellers or open their own brokerage and hire agents to work for them.
“We are extremely proud of Brett and Tammy for earning their broker’s license,” said Sally Liddicoat, broker/owner of WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Peak Performance. “Each of them continuously strives to better themselves as a real estate professional and improve the level of service they provide their clients. Brett and Tammy are an inspiration to their colleagues and tremendous assets for our clients.”
Sponsler, of Sun City, obtained his real estate license in 2011, while Velarde, a Glendale resident, earned her license in 2013. Both are part of a team of knowledgeable and dedicated agents at WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Peak Performance, which brings many years of combined real estate expertise to its clients.
“Sally has encouraged me from day one, like she does all her agents, to seek out ways to become more knowledgeable about the real estate industry to help offer our clients the best service available,” said Velarde, who attended the real estate school run by Liddicoat, Peak Performance School of Real Estate, with Sponsler to prepare for the broker’s exam. “I’m sure I can speak for Brett when I say how grateful I am for Sally’s encouragement and support to take my real estate career to the next level.“
