Real estate agents to ride atop Wizard of Oz themed float
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. / Oct. 12, 2017 – Don’t be surprised to see the streets in South Williamsport turn into a yellow brick road at this year’s Mummers Parade when the Weichert, Realtors® – Premier float goes by.
What else would you expect when seeing the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the South, as well as the Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, Dorothy, and of course, Toto, riding on a Wizard of Oz themed float?
“We can’t wait to show off our Wizard of Oz themed float at this year’s Mummers Parade,” said Chris Pardee, the broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Premier. “Our agents and staff as well as their families will dress up as different Wizard of Oz characters as they toss buckets of candy to people watching the parade. We’re going to have so much fun.”
The 72nd South Williamsport Mummers Parade takes place on Sat. Oct. 21 and begins at 2 p.m., when it makes its way down Central and West Southern Avenues. Held annually, the event is sponsored by the South Williamsport Mummers Association.
