“I’ve been a fan of dirt track sprint cars for more than 20 years,” said Moriarty, who’s been around the sport since 1995 when a friend asked if he would help his son who was a race car driver. “That introduction to sprint car racing led to numerous sponsorships over the years with various drivers.”
Moriarty has supported Hughes’ racing career since 2011 after the driver moved up from Micro Sprints to Sprint Cars. He races primarily at Lawrenceburg Speedway, Lincoln Park Speedway, Twin Cities Speedway and other dirt tracks in Indiana.
“JJ has a winning attitude every time he hits the race track and that’s one of the things that makes it so easy to say yes to this sponsorship opportunity,” added Moriarty. “Who doesn’t want to be associated with someone with such a winning attitude?”
