PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. / Oct. 3, 2019 – Weichert, Realtors® – True Quality Service was honored to participate in this year’s Cocktails & Cars for the Cause fundraiser in Palm Beach Gardens to help support Alzheimer’s research.
Proceeds from the September 21 event, held at the Harbor Chase of Palm Beach Gardens, benefit the Fisher Center of Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
The non-profit organization provides millions of dollars for novel Alzheimer’s research at the Fisher Center lab at The Rockefeller University, plus other leading research institutes around the world.
“We had a great time participating in a community event that raises money for an amazing organization,” said Michael Garcia, the broker/owner of the Lake Worth-based Weichert® affiliate. “Our office loves supporting local events and organizations that have a positive impact on the lives of others, and we will continue to do so as long as we can.”
The event also gave Garcia a chance to show off his 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector’s Edition, which was a crowd favorite at this year’s car show fundraiser.
“Being a part of events like this makes us feel like we’re part of this close-knit community and gives us a chance to help others. It also gave me a chance to show off my Corvette, which I love doing,” added Garcia.
