NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. / Nov. 27, 2018 – Mary Ward, a real estate agent, freely admits she enjoys helping others.
The joy she gets from helping clients is why the agent at Weichert, Realtors® – Hallmark Properties got into the business. But her willingness to help others doesn’t end there.
Ward also volunteers with Sacred Heart/St. Gerard’s Council of Catholic Women, a New Smyrna Beach non-profit that provides educational, social and service activities for the less fortunate.
The Weichert® affiliated agent also helps the Council by mentoring and tutoring local elementary school students and organizing coat and school supply drives to benefit students who are at risk and in need.
“Volunteering with the Council of Catholic Women gives me a chance to reach out to people in need of a helping hand,” said Ward. “The positive impact this organization has on people’s lives is amazing and is something I’m proud to be a part of.”
Ward most recently helped the Council by serving as a committee chair for a fundraising event that benefitted God’s Bathhouse, a non-profit that provides hot showers and clean clothing to people in need.
“It was an honor to serve as a committee chair for the bunco party fundraiser we recently hosted,” added Ward, who lives in New Smyrna Beach. “There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to help support the Council of Catholic Women or their mission.”
