The business teacher at North Thurston High School in Lacey recently did just that to help prepare students at the school for a statewide business leadership competition.
“Twelve kids from our school qualified for last month’s Future Business Leaders of America state competition, and they did great,” said Bork, who also works at the Olympia-based Weichert® affiliate. “Six of them were in the top 10 at state and three are headed to nationals.”
Preparing her students for next month’s nationals in San Antonio, Texas means hours of more work for Bork, which she is excited to take on.
Bork’s willingness to help people – with real estate and other things – also continues to impress her colleagues at the Weichert® affiliate where she works.
