Bobbie O’Reilly at Weichert, Realtors® – McKee Real Estate named a Melvin Jones Fellow
LONG GROVE, Ill. / March 26, 2018 – Weichert, Realtors®- McKee Real Estate is proud to announce that Bobbie O’Reilly has been named the recipient of the Lions Club International Foundation’s (LCIF) Melvin Jones Fellowship, one of the organization’s most prestigious humanitarian awards.
O’Reilly, the broker/owner of the Long Grove Weichert® affiliate, was named a Melvin Jones Fellow for her years of support to help raise funds and awareness for the Lions Club’s humanitarian efforts globally.
“I am humbled and truly honored to be named a Melvin Jones Fellow by the Lions Club International Foundation,” said O’Reilly, of Long Grove. “I’ve had the privilege of being a member of the Lions Club’s Long Grove chapter for the past 25 years and it has been a tremendously rewarding experience. I am thankful for the opportunities they have given me to help others.”
The Melvin Jones Fellowship is named after Melvin Jones, the founder of the Lions Clubs International, and is considered the backbone of the LCIF. Due to the growth of the Fellowship program and the revenue it generates, the LCIF has been able to meet humanitarian needs in communities around the world.
O’Reilly received her Fellowship plaque and lapel pin during the Long Grove chapter’s annual installation dinner on March 8. She has also been invited to visit the LCIF’s international headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois to view the wall were her Fellowship plaque will be displayed.
