HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. / Nov. 5, 2018 — The folks at Weichert, Realtors® – Southern Realty Partners certainly did their part to help get the community into the Halloween spirit.
And it felt like you saw them, and their mascot, Kurt the Bear, doing it everywhere in the days and weeks leading up to Halloween.
First, the Weichert® affiliate popped up on the Streets of Indian Lake to cheer on participants at the October 20th Haunted Hustle 5K – including the kids that enjoyed the 1K fun run that preceded the longer race. The annual race benefits Habitat for Humanity.
Then the real estate team was spotted at Drakes Creek Park a day before Halloween handing out candy to the nearly 2,000 kids that came out for a trick-or-treat event in the park.
“It’s always fun getting into the Halloween and fall spirit,” said Kelly McDaniel, the real estate agency’s principal broker/owner. “My team and I were probably as excited as the community to be a part of these fun Halloween events.”
Supporting the Haunted Hustle and trick-or-treat event allowed McDaniel’s team to give back to the community, something it often does.
The office supports other local non-profit organizations such as Grace Place Ministries, Habitat for Humanity and several other charitable groups.
“This community has supported us tremendously over the years,” added McDaniel. “Being a part of fun community events like this one way we can return the favor.”
