Weichert, Realtors® – The Place Of Houses fundraises for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas / Nov. 1, 2017 – Whether big or small, a team of local REALTORS wants to “save ‘em all.”
That rallying cry inspired a team from Weichert, Realtors® – The Place Of Houses, while decked out in pink, to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Oct. 21 Making Strides Against Breast fundraising walk in Corpus Christi. Held annually at locations across the country, the event raises funds to support breast cancer research as well as programs and services for survivors and their families.
“Most of us know someone who has been touched by this disease,” said Jean Marie Giegerich, the broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – The Place Of Houses. “Our coming out and walking in this event is one way we can help breast cancer survivors and honor those who lost their battle with this disease.”
Giegerich and her team “Big or Small, Save ‘em All” were joined by thousands of other walkers on the Bayfront for the fall fundraiser. Many were sporting the same color apparel as Giegerich’s team, which transformed Shoreline Boulevard into a sea of pink breast cancer supporters.
