ATHENS, Tenn. / Nov. 7, 2019 – Weichert, Realtors® – SEM Associates is excited to partner with Nourish One Child to kick off the holiday season with its first-ever Paint The Town Yellow Kids Food Drive & Open House event this month to help families in need.
Area residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items for kids, including fruit bites and fruit roll ups, NutriGrain bars, raisins, macaroni & cheese cups, juice boxes, pudding cups and individual snack size bags of chips (no nut related products), to help support the event.
Local residents can also mingle with the staff at Weichert, Realtors® – SEM Associates while dropping off donated food items and enjoy light refreshments as part of the open house event.
Donated items can be dropped off at the Weichert® affiliate’s Athens and Decatur offices, located at 500 Congress Parkway South in Athens and 116B North Main Street in Decatur, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. up until November 16.
The donated items will be delivered to Nourish One Child, a local non-profit organization that fights hunger among the children of Athens City Schools by providing consistent weekend nourishment, discreetly and confidentially, throughout the school year.

This is one way our office can help those in need this holiday season.”
