Weichert, Realtors® – Shaun & Shari Group excited to host Annual Simpsonville Christmas Parade
SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. / Nov. 22, 2019 — You know Christmas is near when you see the folks at Weichert, Realtors® – Shaun & Shari Group making last-minute preparations for the Annual Simpsonville Christmas Parade.
Sponsored by the Simpsonville-based Weichert® affiliate, the annual Christmas parade is one of the city’s biggest holiday events.
It’s also a great chance for the season’s first sighting of Santa.
“What better way to start off your holiday season than to join us at the Annual Simpsonville Christmas Parade?” said Shari Phillips, who owns the Simpsonville real estate agency with her husband, Shaun Phillips. “We hope that this year’s turnout for the parade is bigger than last year’s.”
Any community group or business can enter a float, performance group or decorated vehicle for the Christmas Parade, which will make its way down Main Street on December 1. The entry fee for parade participants is $40 ($15 for Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce members).
Starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Weichert affiliate office, spectators can also enjoy a face painting booth, s’mores bars and hot chocolate, and goodie bags while watching the parade.
“Hosting our Christmas parade is a fun way to get folks of all ages into the holiday spirit,” said Shaun Phillips. “This event also gives our office a chance to thank the community for its support over the years.”
The Annual Christmas Parade is generously supported by Waterleaf at Neely Ferry, Fitesa, and Simpsonville United Methodist Church.
Sponsorship opportunities for the Simpsonville Christmas Parade are still available, as well as volunteer opportunities at the event.
