COLUMBIA, Mo. / Oct. 2, 2017 – Weichert, Realtors® – First Tier in Columbia is proud to announce that REALTOR Monica Hansman has successfully completed the Columbia Board of REALTORS (CBOR) Leadership Academy training. The intensive months-long CBOR academy teaches leadership skills to help members in business as well as in their personal lives and introduces them to leadership opportunities on a local, state and national level.
“It was an honor and a privilege to be a part of the Columbia Board of REALTORS’ 2017 leadership academy class,” said Hansman, an award-winning real estate agent who has worked at the Columbia-based Weichert® affiliate office since 2006. “The skill sets and insight I gained from participating in this leadership academy will help me immensely, both professionally and personally.”
Hansman earned her Missouri REALTOR license in 2006 and has been involved with various professional associations throughout her career. She is a member of the Columbia chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS and previously served as the group’s president, president-elect and vice president of membership. Hansman currently serves on the CBOR’s finance committee and is a past co-chair of the association’s special events committee. She has also been elected as the CBOR’s treasurer for 2018.

Prior to entering real estate, Hansman worked at Boone County National Bank where she gained invaluable experience in credit administration, commercial lending and credit analysis. She is also a member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Network and is actively involved with her local United Way chapter.
Originally from Paris, Missouri, Hansman has lived in Columbia for the past 15 years.
