HILTON HEAD, S.C. / Nov. 1, 2019 – It’s not every day that golfers get a chance to play on the private Wexford Golf Club. Playing there is memorable.
The occasion becomes even more memorable when it involves a chance to help a local charity.
And that’s what made the 13th Annual Golf and Tennis Tournament hosted by Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties at Wexford Plantation so special.
“Golfers were very excited to play Wexford Golf Club, while helping us raise funds for an amazing non-profit organization here in our community,” said Karen Ryan, the broker/co-owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties.
Proceeds from the Weichert® affiliate’s October 21st golf and tennis tournament – which raised over $13,000 – benefited Family Promise of Beaufort County, a non-profit group that provides temporary shelter, family stability and permanent housing solutions for homeless families with children.
Since its inception in 2007, the annual golf and tennis event organized by the South Carolina Weichert® affiliate has raised over $180,000. Proceeds from the event have benefited various local charities over the years.
“We’re delighted to see the continued growth of this fundraising event,” added Ryan. “And we can’t thank the volunteers enough who helped organize this event and our event sponsors for their support.”
