GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. / May 29, 2018 – Weichert, Realtors® – Heiden Homes Realty was honored to compete in Grand Junction High School’s annual Community Knowledge Bowl on April 14.
The Jeopardy game show-style contest is a fundraiser for the school’s knowledge bowl team, winners of this year’s Colorado state championship. Funds raised at the event helped cover costs for the school to compete for the national title in Atlanta, Georgia over the Memorial Day weekend.
“It truly was an honor to be invited to participate in such a unique fundraising event,” said the broker/owner of the Grand Junction-based Weichert® affiliate, Toni Heiden, “Who would have ever guessed you could help raise money for a worthy cause through an event like this?”
Teams paid an entrance fee to participate in the event, which challenged participants to answer questions about history, math, science, politics and current events.
“This was our second year in a row being involved with the Community Knowledge Bowl, but hopefully not our last,” added the team’s captain. “We’d absolutely do it again next year.”
