LANCASTER, Calif. / March 18, 2020 – Weichert, Realtors® – Oasis was honored to lend a helping hand to those in need last month when a team of its agents spent the day feeding the homeless at a city church.
The company’s broker/owner also showed his willingness to help those in need by purchasing all the food that was provided that day.
“We were truly honored to spend the day helping those most in need get a hearty meal,” said Sam Alshaer. “This was the first time we did something like this under our Weichert name, but it definitely won’t be our last.”
Alshaer and his team have committed to hosting at least two more events to help feed the homeless and the company is challenging other businesses in the area to do the same.
“My goal is to challenge each business in our community to perform this same type of wonderful event once year,” added Alshaer. “Extending that type of helping hand to those in need would have a tremendous impact on our community.”
