CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas / Nov. 27, 2019 – Weichert, Realtors® – The Place Of Houses, located in Corpus Christi, was honored to recently be a part of two of the city’s most exciting fall community events.
The Weichert® affiliate got an early start to handing out Halloween candy this year by participating in the October 30 Trunk or Treat event at Waves Resort, which benefitted Anchored Hope International.
The Corpus Christi-based real estate agency also had a blast participating in the 5th Annual Putt Putt & 19th Hole After Party hosted by the Rising Tide Society. Proceeds from the November 9 fundraiser help support the Texas State Aquarium’s wildlife rescue program.
“We were so excited to participate in both the Trunk or Treat and Putt Putt parties this year,” said Jean Marie Giegerich, the company’s broker/owner. “Although they are completely different events, they both gave our office the chance to do the same thing: give back to the communities that we serve.”
Trick-or-treaters of all ages stopped by the Weichert, Realtors® – The Place Of Houses booth at this year’s Trunk or Treat for candy and goodies, as well as a chance to win some cool raffle prizes.
And for one night only, the Texas State Aquarium was transformed into a mini-golf course complete with 18 holes, club house, 50-foot putting challenge and more.
“Trunk or Treat is a fun-filled community event that gets everyone into the Halloween spirit, and the Putt Putt party is an amazing fundraiser that helps support the Texas State Aquarium’s mission and conservation efforts,” added Giegerich. “We can’t wait to be a part of each event again next year.”
